This article is currently available online. Debra Italia has been strongly engaged in this study.

TELETHON grant 2008
We publish the summary related to the most recent research project on EB funded by Telethon Italy (Summer 2008).
The aim of the project is the pre-clinical development of lentiviral vectors for gene therapy of Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa.
On 19 November 2006 Nature Medicine, one of the most important scientific magazine, published the article related to Prof. Michele De Luca’s first successful trial of gene therapy on an Italian patient affected by Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa.
